I have a food allergy. Can I ask my chef to address my dietary concerns?
Yes. Please contact the chef before making the booking by using the “Contact Chef” button and ask any questions you have about alternative ingredients.
How long will the Chef be at my home?
Cooking times are generally listed on the dishes page that you reserved from. Generally you can expect them to complete the dish in around 1 hour. If you need timings it’s always best to ask the chef before booking using our messaging system.
Can I watch and learn while TipTopChef cooks?
Yes. You may watch and learn from the chefs as they cook the dish. Please keep in mind they are working and concentrating on making a superb dish.
Should I clean up my kitchen and counter space?
Yes. Please ensure you have a tidy kitchen for our chefs to maneuver in comfortably. The more counter space the better.
What is included in a TipTopChef reservation?
Our TipTopChef will do all the grocery shopping (included in reservation cost), prepare the dishes, answer questions while cooking for you and your guests.
Will our chef clean-up?
No. To keep things simple we do not ask our chefs to do any of the cleaning. This allows them to concentrate on what they do best and to get out of your way if you are entertaining. We recommend you simply load the dishwasher when they are done.
Can TipTopChef deliver meals?
No. We currently only offer in-house private chef experiences.
Do I need to purchase groceries?
No. Your chef will come with all the groceries needed for the dish. Please ensure that you have reserved the right amount of guests. This will allow your chef to buy the right amount for everyone.
Are the cost of ingredients included?
Yes. Cost of the ingredients are all covered with your reservation.
How can I pay for TipTopChef reservation?
When making a booking you can pay using our 100% secure payment gateway with your credit card (all major credit cards).
Can I cancel my reservation?
We offer both the chef and members the ability to cancel 5 days prior to the reservation day. More on our cancellation policy.
