THE SPIRIT OF MAISON ARDOISE
A little place with a point of view.
Maison Ardoise is an imagined neighbourhood bistro on a quiet Paris side street, the kind of place with a chalkboard menu, a busy zinc bar and a pot of something braising all afternoon. The menu leans on French-inspired home cooking: butter, wine, shallots, mustard and fresh herbs, slow braises and quick pan sauces, plus clear steps and careful temperature checks. It is a fictional concept and makes no claim to represent one regional tradition. Every dish is an original house recipe.
